Welcome to St.Vincent’s Convent Sr.Sec.School
St. Vincent’s Convent Sr. Sec. School Balasore is a recognised unaided Christian Minority Institution founded in the year 1974. Founder of the school is late Rev. Monsignor Jacob Vadakeveetil the then Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Balasore.
The school is under the religious jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Balasore and its chairperson is Rt. Rev. Dr. Thomas Thiruthalil, the Bishop of Balasore. The school is administered by the Sisters of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel. The sisters offer their dedicated and selfless service for the intellecutal, moral and aesthetic development of the students and the people in the vicinity.
From its humble origin with 80 students the school has grown to a full-fledged institution with nearly 2000 students and today it is regarded as the premier institution of Balasore providing quality education to the children of this locality. Affiliated to the council for the India School Certificate Examinations (ICSE / ISC Board) New Delhi prepares its students for the ICSE Examination at X level and ISC Examination at +2 levels.
